Pat Riot
I could have done without the segment after Red’s monologue. I remember watching this on the Red Skelton show. I had to look up the year, but it was 1969. I absolutely remember having a renewed sense of pride the next day snd every day after when saying the pledge of allegiance at school. Here it is, the way I remember it.
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Had the pleasure of meeting Red when I worked the ramp(ramp-rat)for WAL/LAX. He was a very kind and thoughtful man, and a total gentleman.
