A guy a block south  of me rescues Greyhounds and has a sled like that.  We don't a lot of snow and Greyhounds are build for speed, not strength, but he takes them out a few times a year.  They go about a half mile or a bit more before he takes them back to warmth and rest.  The dogs seem to be having a great time when they are pulling, but they stop to "talk" to everyone they meet.

 

Strange looking arrangement, but entertaining for everyone involved.

 

Some day I'll remember to ask where he got the sled........and why.
