They used to put them on the front fenders, and cars ain't got no fenders anymore. And they used to tie it on the trunk, and I bet that thing is a hatchback.

The only thing wrong with tying it over the engine is a lot of heat going up into that meat.

Then again, maybe that's a rear engine car, and they do have it tied on the trunk. :)

Ever see the movie Starman?

Alien lands on Earth, grows a clone of a dead body, and convinces the dead guys widow to take him to the big meteor crater, which is where the mothership is going to come pick him up.

Along the way they stop off for food, and there's an obnoxious guy that wants to pick a fight with the alien. Out in the parking lot is the obnoxious guy's car, which has a dead deer tied to the trunk.

The alien can't understand why people kill things, so he uses his alien powers to bring it back to life, and it hops off the car and runs off into the woods.

I wonder how that would work with that one, since it ain't got no innards?

@Alpo that is a late 90's chevy metro, with the larger front engine (1.3L i4 79hp).  He has a tarp under the deer, maybe that is all the insulation it needs.   Another problem is leaving open meat to pick up whatever contaminants from the roadtrip.  Mmm, diesel particulate and antifreeze marinade.

Yummy
