Sedalia Dave
If you hook the cable of you truck’s tailgate support over the latch stud like so. You can see your hitch ball clearly in the backup camera. Making it a breeze to get the trailer hitch centered over the ball every time. Learned this last Saturday. Now I need to buy a truck and try that out. 2
Eyesa Horg
My new GMC camera is aimed pretty good! I can generally get it on the first shot. Cameras save a lot of bitchin'. 3

Or at least a truck with a cable supporting the tailgate (mine has two pieces of bar stock that pivot in the middle) and a backup camera. 1
Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770
When I was still working, my work truck, (tractor-trailer), had a backup camera on it. The trailer has a liftgate also. What I did to make it work best for me was to set the liftgate on the ground so that I could see it in the camera. Then I took a marker and drew an outline of the liftgate on the screen of the system. That way, I could put the liftgate within inches of where I wanted it when backing. The camera on my pickup is in the license plate frame, set so that the bottom of the screen is where the tailgate sets when down. If I needed to hitch a trailer to it, I would probably draw a vertical line showing where the hitch is and use that to line up on the trailer. If my camera was on the tailgate though, I'd use your idea.

That was the hardest trailer I have ever had to back up to or back into the ramp or storage area. I invented new and improved cuss words when I owned that one. Alpo
There's a girl down the street with a decal in the back window of her pickup. Just because you squat to pee doesn't mean your truck has to. Edited October 2 by Alpo

Alpo
Centaurs, as far as I am aware, are Greek. And I've never heard of one with horns. You suppose that's a viking centaur, which came about from eating the lutefisk? 1
