Rip Snorter
I rented a very nice little cottage many years back. It had a Sears swing down ladder to the second floor / bedroom. The only issue was when my Lab Pup put on some pounds and even young and buff, I couldn't carry him up. He would cry at the bottom. 2

The climber would alternate side to side. Going up wouldn't be so bad, but it seems coming down would take a bit of getting used to. Pat Riot
Show off! I am guessing the M1A is gods favorite and rifle that appears to be an Enfield on the hearth is a special rifle. Edited June 11 by Pat Riot 5

But while that last word is blurry it does not look like it could say animal to me. Thoughts?

The risers are about 2 feet, and the treads are about 3 inches. Going up would be difficult. Going down would be a thorough pain in the keister. I think it's funny that other than a few light tugs on the off side rein, the rider is just letting the horse do his thing. 4

Looking at her face, I don't think the horse has hold of her. She looks startled, maybe a little scared. But she doesn't look hurt. I think he's got her jacket. Which could be why the rider doesn't appear very worried.
