Blackwater 53393
Been that way for a long time, (20 years that I can remember). Most ranges/clubs that I have visited set their shot sizes smaller, but I keep some fairly warm #5 shells in my gear for those stubborn KDs where it’s allowed. I don’t reckon they’ve changed the rules or somebody would’ve noticed and said something before now. PWB??
Eyesa Horg
Been #4 since I joined. Although it seems most use 7.5 or 8.
Gateway Kid SASS# 70038 Life
^^^^^^ this been #4 since I started in 2007, don’t know before that. some ranges require #6 or smaller. personally I load 7 or 7.5 and don’t worry about it Regards Gateway Kid
Noah Mercy, SASS #29066
Been #4 since I joined back in...uhh how old is dirt? I prefer smaller shot just because it doesn't sting as bad if a pellet makes it way back to me.

PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
I just dug out my 1992 SHB ... that's been the rule for over 30 years. As noted, many ranges limit maximum shot size to #6 or #7.5 or smaller.
Bull Skinner
Rules allow #4, that’s permission not a recommendation.
Double Barrel, SASS 34765
My guess would be that #4 was allowed because the targets used to be about twice as far away as they are now. Just never updated as the targets moved closer.
Uriah, SASS # 53822
Yeah, it gives us the shooters place to get rid of the lead #4. Ducks, no! State land, sometime no.

John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
PS if you come to the line with #4 let me know so I can go stand elsewhere.
Dutch Coroner
Had a shooter use double 00 buckshot earlier this year. Earned himself a SDQ. The largest shot size permitted is 7 ½. Which I think is true for every club in this VA/MD/PA area.
