I have some trash trees I need to take down, and because of the way they're leaning, if I just start to cut them they're going to fall somewhere I don't want them to go. ([It's really good to me]? (otto really had fun with that one) IT CAME TO ME that if I could get a rope around the top of one of them I could pull it in another direction before I started to cut, and hopefully it wouldn't cause damage when it fell. So I ordered this grapling hook. Whoever packed this for shipment is an imbecile. The first thing I noticed was that it was sent in a paper envelope. Then I saw the warning that someone at the post office had thoughtfully placed on it. Yes. It does have a sharp point. Sticking right through the side of the paper envelope. Alpo Posted April 23, 2023 Author Share Posted April 23, 2023 You will notice in the last picture you can see that the hook was packed inside a plastic bag before it was put in the paper envelope. I wondered what kind of mentality would put this thing with the three sharp points in a paper envelope with nothing protecting the points - nothing to stop the points from poking through the paper. Just a little bit ago I finally tore the plastic bag open and took the hook out. They actually did put protection on the points. A short length of rubber tubing.
