huh , never thought much of this till this post - ive always had non-sass 22 lever guns but just now remembered i have a non-sass lever trap gun , its an 1888 martini enfield that started life as a 455/570 military rifle - then got converted to a 22 miniture rifle trainer - then some great gunsmith in the past turned it into a 12 ga trap gun , i shot it for leagues for years , now mostly retired like me , ill see if i can find photos

Winchester 94s. The top and the bottom are 30/30, and the blonde one in the middle is a 38/55.

The top one is a Marlin 39 from the 50s.

And then we have the Ithaca 49, which is not really a lever - it's a Martini - but it looks like a lever.

Nice guns. Lovely Lady.

I have a Savage 30 model of the Stevens Favorite in .22 LR. Not a lever exactly, but a fun gun. More of a falling block.

Are you asking for levers that you don't use in SASS, or that don't qualify for use?

Here is my Winchester 94 Trails End .357. It was my SASS rifle for a few years. I have replaced the link 3 times and the carrier once.  Parts are scarce now so I retired it from Cowboy Action a few years ago. I will never part with this gun.

About the only gun that I would shoot in cowboy is the top one here - stainless Rossi 92 44 Winchester centerfire.

Rossi92SRCboth44WCF.jpg.daa0d84fcda653bc0370b1421611d36f.jpg

So the blue Rossi 92 44 Winchester is a non-SASS gun. :P

I used this Uberti 73 one time when I tried classic (heavy sumbich), so I guess it counts as a non. I sold the 66, but it's still in the picture so what can I do.Uberti1873186644WCF.jpg.afb0e779f63810a4764fe839ecd993a4.jpg

I tried this Spencer - twice. Unreliable as hell. So it has been relegated to none-SASS use.

TaylorsArmiSportSpencer44Russian.jpg.976962fcf8772ae2bdaa5c9c22ac3c64.jpg

I used to use the top one - the 357 - but I got real stupid once and gave it to my daughter. Ah well. Never used that 16-inch 45 with the big loop for anything except playing John Wayne.

Rossi92SRC35745Colt.jpg.2096bcbb150e48a7257ea05c25958bb9.jpg

My last Rossi 92 (man, does otto have trouble with spelling Rossi). 44 Magnum. Although, if truth be told, all I've ever shot in it is 44 special. But never at a match.

Rossi92SRC44magnum.jpg.381fa56a3f88c84836fbf4edf92f8bb3.jpg

This poor little Winchester needs a little tender loving care to the action. You know you get that three day inspection period but you're not supposed to shoot it, so I loaded it, and pointing it at the ground, just in case, I ran them all through it. Worked fine. Doesn't work so well if you're holding it upright like you're trying to shoot something. And apparently nobody told the original owner that you're supposed to clean it after black powder. Slugging that 20 inches of barrel I found three separate spots with no rifling.

Winchester187332WCF.jpg.f80d7c72c7011ce3d0354c746c79eeb0.jpg

And then this pair of 92s. Real Winchester, made in the teens. The round one is a 32 and the octagonal one with the tang sight is a 38.

Haha. I caught otto. He said tang site, but I fixed it. Showed him.

Winchester18923832WCF.jpg.223e334320364899d087368e2155dfff.jpg

And since you said "guns" and not "rifles", must include this pair of Coyote Caps.

CoyoteCap1887Winchester12gauges.jpg.04855858818440ca796ebd030c6f0253.jpg

I think -operative word "think" - this is all of them.

Apparently I like levers.

My daughter thought so.

The top one is an example of Photobucket. When they started charging people and I didn't want to pay they started cropping my pictures.

I was just curious if folks in here had lever guns they didn’t use OR couldn’t use in SASS. Out of all the actions rifles and carbines come in, the lever action is my favorite.

That’s a beauty. I think the short magazine lever guns look great. What’s the barrel length, 24”?

Thanks! It is a great look. 24 inch barrel with the button mag. Born around 1906. I have never seen another one exactly like it.

That's what caused me to buy that 53 (11th post, first picture, top gun). Saw that half magazine and I was enraptured. When I found out it was a 32 WCF I had to have it. Don't know why I'm hooked on that 32, but I like 'em.

Here is my version of a lever action 'scout rifle'.  Pretty sure it's not SASS legal.

Winchester 30-30, Burris Scout scope mounted on a XS LeverScout mount.  I had to drill and tap the forward edge of the receiver to attach the mount, the leather buttstock cover has loops to carry extra ammo (I'm left handed, so the loops are on the off side of the stock).

I like it! :D

Is that the 2.75x20 Burris Scout Scope?
I am debating between that one and the bigger model, the 2-7x32. I want to put it on my Marlin 336. I have the XS Sight rail with XS iron sights on mine.

Yep, it's the 2.75x scope.  I thought about going with the variable, but stuck to the 'scout' principle of a low magnification scope.  I like the package, and since that picture I've added flip up scope covers to keep the lenses clear.

I like the idea of a simple fixed power scope. Thanks.
