But, since I don't know the TX HS softball rules, I have a question....How far is the base runner allowed to move away from home plate. and/or the base paths before they are automatically out for trying to evade the tag? After I hurt my elbow pitching in baseball, I did catcher duty (go figure) for a while. I used to like to tell a batter "Hey look, there's your mom". Only works once though.
