I think being in Phoenix is what makes it western.  It looks like a high-power match to me.

I'm not seeing anything about SASS or CAS about that match.  It's being held in the western part of our republic, that's all.  A lot of people wear boots and "cowboy hats" that have never heard of CAS.

It is an annual Highpower rifle match put on by the CMP.  Has nothing to do with SASS.  OP just posted the neat emblem for this year.
