Good catch, but according the Riverbend Rough Riders website he has shot with them, so that’s a plus.
Kid Sopris, SASS Regulator
Need better detail pictures. Grips currently on SAA’s don’t appear to fit perfectly.

One Eyed T is legit. I've shot with him at Riverbend and Cherokee. I'll vouch for him. No scammer here.

Cholla
If the grips are real ivory, please post clear photos of the grip butts so that the schreger lines can be seen like this:
Kid Sopris, SASS Regulator
Appraiser said the were "IVORY COLORED", not Ivory...and the guns are "SEQUENTIAL", not CONSECUTIVE.. Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary Test, will be held at 1000, next to the Bar ... 1 1
Hair Trigger Jim
Well, the title does say "consecutive," unless "2 consecutive" means they're 2 numbers apart. Good point about the ivory colored grips. And still pretty shootin irons!
Max Payne
I have shot these guns, & they are spectacular! I shoot with Tony (One-Eye'd T) at least twice per month, & he's a very good friend of mine. They have almost zero holster wear. As I recall, there is a tiny bit at the end of the barrels, if any. When I shot them, there was no transition at all from being used to my max'ed out Jimmy Spurs N M Vaqueros. If I didn't have two sets of Jimmy Spurs guns, I would be very, very tempted. There is no way you wouldn't be ecstatic with them.

Texas Snake-Eye Sawbones
Another recommendation for Tony (One-Eye'd T) . He's a gentleman and an all around nice guy.

If they are ivory I would like to see the grain. If they are not ivory, I would like to know.
Max Payne
T should answer this, but I'm pretty comfortable they are not ivory.

One Eyed T
By the way! There was nothing in the post that said they were ivory! Why y’all think that? Read the post and the appraisal. Nothing mentioned….

Read the post and the appraisal. Nothing mentioned…. I think it’s because Colt did ship SAA’s from the custom shop with real ivory grips. And the fact that lots of listings here while descriptive there are always follow up questions. In this case folks wanted to know if they were real ivory or simulated.
