Absolutely great with the same tomorrow.  However, Wednesday has forecast rain.  If I can charge my cap and ball revolvers under cover I will shoot the Plainsman.

Update:  The Plainsman will be shot on stages 5 and 6.  Stage 5 is the Rough Rider Saloon.  Stage 6 has large canopies over both the loading and unloading tables.  The shooting positions are under a roof.  Forecast rain should not stop the Plainsman.

Very nice after it warmed up, high 60’s, low 70’s is my guess.

I made my first big purchase this morning: 30 bags of lead shot from Thunderbird Cartridge.  I also bought a case of Claybuster wads for $10/bag.

That ought to last you for the rest of your life. LOL

I shoot Sporting Clays twice weekly loading for that and three CAS shooters ( my wife, my sister and myself).  I consume much shot.  I also sold shot to three CAS shooters last year who ran out.  Half of the shot bags pictured were ones I brought to fill.

I visited Wild West Mercantile in Mesa today and shopped their bargain corral.  It was full of women’s wear and men’s clothing sized for skinny teenagers.  I found two pair of trousers that fit and did not have ugly fabric.  After shopping my wife and I visited the Desert Botanical Garden in Tempe.  Cactus were not blooming yet but yucca and some agave were.

Totally understand. I use to shoot skeet, trap, sporting clays and field trials with my bird dogs. I went through a bunch of shells and would have used a lot of shot as well. Take care

The Clays Center campground is mostly full of CAS shooters.  Three nearby trailers belong to my club members.  Note the SASS flag in the photo.  There are still available full hookup sites.  This campground is a handy, inexpensive bargain.57ED2D32-1160-4EE4-A508-EC796B1DD13B.thumb.jpeg.7133c71ed9fa08494ab94ac17611d79d.jpeg
