SR87 southbound is closed too. There is also a westbound closure at Holbrook and bad driving conditions both sides of the AZ/NM border. There is now a severe snow squall warning at Grants, NM crossing I-40. * At 1120 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Heron Lake State Park to near El Morro, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Extremely poor visibility in snow and blowing snow. Wind gusts greater than 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
