Horace Patootie, SASS #35798
I was at a local gun shop today and saw a new Chiappa Little Sharps in 45 Colt. Price would be less than $1000 after tax. So, I looked them up. MSRP is 1389.00 per website and Sportsmans Warehouse price is 1089.00 plus tax. Sounds like a decent price and was a pretty gun. Not that I need one but it was nice. LGS is in the Fort Worth, Texas area. Horace
Three Foot Johnson
I bought a like new one locally in .22 a couple years ago with a 3x Malcolm scope for $1185. Didn't like the scope, so it got an MVA tang sight. I took 1st place in a long range .22 single shot side match at the Montana state shoot last year.
Fence Cutter
In 2019 I got this Pedersoli Sharps Light .22 for $950.00. The original owner bought it one year earlier from Taylor's and had just over $1900 in it. Double set triggers, 24" barrel, mid-range sight, spirit level and globe front. If you have the slightest hankerin to own one of these...don't delay....pull the trigger. I don't think you'd ever regret it. No need for a big rifle cartridge when most Plainsman matches only have targets out to 50 yards or less. Even if they have targets out at 75 yards or more, the 45 Colt will still reach out there and smack 'em!
Pat Riot, SASS #13748
They have the Little Sharps chambered in 30-30 as well. Not a SASS round but still, that’s pretty cool. https://www.chiappafirearms.com/family.php?id=
