Respect for fallen heros

My friend, Tom, spends his winters here is Southwest New Mexico. I visit for a month or so on my way to EOT. A few years ago, Tom discovered a grave, far out in the high desert where two Buffalo Soldiers were killed and buried. Over the years and being a Navy veteran, he has chosen to maintain this grave. Yesterday, Tom, Belle(The Wonder Dog) and I went to the grave and erected a flag pole and flag complete with solar powered flood lights. A moment of silence followed. Another friend of ours passed a few weeks ago and some of his ashes were deposited here as he used to help Tom maintain the site. God bless all those that gave all.....

While I respect the idea , how do you know they are actual graves of Buffalo soldiers ?
