I prefer Lazy Bob’s Country Cafe.

The closest eatery is 12 miles ;)

I've found that most Mexican places are about as real Mexican as Cher Boyardee is authentic Italian.  Generic tacos are not my idea of "Mexican" fare.

Actually,  Boiardi (the man behind Chef Boyardee) was Italian

And I'm part French; but that does not raise the level of my cooking to Le Cordon Bleu levels.  Chef Boyardee is just a small step above Iams.

Over in Grafton there's a little place called Sharon's.

It's in a genuine trolley car trucked in from New York.

Good food, prices aren't bad.

My favorite is Michelle's Cafe in Lagrange.

Michelle started in a little place by the railroad tracks, she built her business the hard way, moved into a new place on the north end of town.

Recommended!

Y’all come on out to Wartrace for the Tennessee State Match in June and we’ll introduce you to the Bell Buckle Cafe!!  They have all sorts of home cooked comfort food!  They also host the annual Moon Pie Festival!!

They also cater the Regulators’ Reckoning Banquet!!  It’s one of the very best banquets in SASS!!!

Yeah, but it was better before they changed the name on the can and went to mass production.

So Forty Rod, since I live in the same area you live in, what is the name of this restaurant you are talking about?  Would like to try it.

Hey, Lone Spur Jake the cafe that Forty Rod is talking about is Jen's Cafe, it's on the frontage road just off Hwy 69 just west of Glassford Hill Road.

Like he says great food (lots of it), great service, and the place is crowded at breakfast time, and parking is sparce, but worth a little walk to get there.
