Cyrus Cassidy #45437
I bought this mould from a guy on the Cast Boolits forum. I recently acquired a model 1866 Allin Conversion in .50-70 and want to shoot it, so I bought the mould and some brass. The mould is in great shape; I’m just struck by the box it came in (they are all orange plastic now). They still make this mould, but based on the box, how old do you suppose it is? Pat Riot
That one was made on May 5, 1941. Says so right on the box. I will leave now…
J-BAR #18287
Pure and total guess, I don’t know for sure, but the box has a 1960s vibe.

Sedalia Dave
Somewhere between 1927 and the mid 60s. My guess is late 50s or the 60s
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
I bought moulds back in the early seventies that came in those boxes, but I'm pretty sure that they'd been in use for some time. I think J-Bar's spot on. Edit: Found this on Ebay, appearing to be about the same style and labeled as 1950's vintage:

Smuteye John SASS#24774
Considering that Lyman has been in business since the Allin conversions were introduced, it could be OEM.
LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
Pre 1963, based on the abbreviation for Connecticut. That's when the 2 letter abbreviations became standard to make room for zip codes.
