“Quaters”

Thought we were going to learn about quick taters…whatever those might be.

I have never owned a quarter bore. Not that I don’t want one.

I would prefer one with the bore the size of a quarter .955  so a little bigger than a 20MM :)

just depends on your definition of wild game , Israeli fighter planes just took out a refinery and ammo factory in Iran :)

Edible wild game…not for cannibals. ;)

250-3000

Savage Model 1922  1920, aka Savage Model 20 (Savage Model 1922 is a .22 rimfire)

There, Duff... fixed it for ya.

I gave Sassparilla Kid one of my Model 20's - .250-3000, pictured below. @Palouse presented the youngster a barreled action (also in .250) that he's slowly bringing back to life - needing a stock.  Actually, Palouse found all three of 'em for us!  ^_^

The first one I ever laid eyes on was one Hank bought back about 1971.  He gave a fella $40 for the rifle and a Rolleiflex camera that he passed on to me.  Love those li'l rifles... just under six pounds and handy as can be, often found with interesting rear sights like the Lyman 54 bolt-mounted model, or Marble's S-20.  The Kid's has the S-20.

Three Savage Model 20's ~ (ignore the sporterized Mosin at the top)  ^_^

A NEW question about those model 1920 Savages - 24hourcampfire

Marble's S-20 sight (not the Kid's rifle)

Does my 25 ACP Beretta count? :P

I had one of them for awhile, sold it to a friend. Nice little pistol. I wish I would have kept it!

My favorite .25 cal. rifle that I own is an original  25-20 SS Winchester Highwall with a #4 weight barrel.  I bought it from a long time shooting friend a couple years before his death.  When ever I take it to the range I think of the good times we had together.
