cannot be answered accurately without seeing its condition.  At best you'll get a range.

Well, that cracked carrier may reduce it by a few hundred....:(

 

But, Yes, you can ask and get gun value estimates here that are worth every penny of what you pay for them...    Most often, here you will get values that reflect shooting-firearm-condition, not collector-condition.   Which do you consider this firearm to be?

This is a shooter gun. My friend had a death in the family and he has no need for it. I want to sell it for him and get a fair price. I will have it with me at EOT if anyone wants to see it.

Per the S/N it is a first year (1887) manufacture. It has the single extractor which is not the best for our sport.

 

The carrier could be repaired or, with some effort, a replacement might be available from some antique parts sources.

 

As it is, it might be more desirable to a collector than a CAS shooter.
