    ..... espescially when you realise that machines of the day were hand cranked/powered / pedal powered / water wheel driven and/or steam driven .......

         ........ and with that type of equipment Uncle J.M.Browning designed and prototyped the 1887 LeverAction shotgun in a fortnight .....   :)

And no halogen lighting, HSS or carbide tooling or digital readouts.

They built trains too!! That always amazed me!! People sure weren’t stupid back then!
