The high tech toys in the OR is wall to wall, and simply mind boggling. I didn't get to see much of that when I had my back surgery, they wheeled me into the OR, and there was a box on the table I guess they were gonna stick my face in. The CRNA said they just shot some stuff in my IV. I asked if the lights were about to go out, and he said naw, we still have to hook hook up your monitors and all kinda stuff. Lying sack! Then I woke up and there was a post op nurse writing in my chart. I wondered what general anesthesia would be like, if I would dream or what not. Nope.
