Not wanting to rely on memory, I looked this up and found that in 1983 the International Olympic Committee reinstated Jim Thorpe's records and presented replicas of the medals taken from him to his family. I decided to rent the movie and watched it today. I went to school in Carlisle, PA so the story of JIm Thorpe and the Carlisle Indian School is somethig special to me.
