Vail Vigilante Posted January 2, 2023 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Hello, Does anybody know of a source where I can find a shim kit for a Pietta 1873? I need to shim up the cylinder bushing a tad. With the removable cylinder pin, they fit right under it. With out the shims, the cylinder rides along the barrel stud, when forward (.000 gap). With the shims it’s rock solid and there’s a gap. .004. About only thing you look out for is disassembling it, and losing the shims. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
