The guy a few houses down the hill from me will light off some serious stuff that will rattle my windows, while a couple of folks across the state highway will set off a string of about a thousand firecrackers, and then I'll lie awake for a few minutes trying to figure out if the rhythmic shots are firecrackers or firearms.
