I feel pretty sure there will be a registration form at some point, but if somebody doesn't show up here with more info, you could always send an email to: info@tejascaballeros.org Hope to see you there! p.s. Our annual match, Whoopin' 23 will indeed be on the weekend of March 17th - 19th, and we are finalizing the schedule of events currently. I should have registration posted to our website https://www.tejascaballeros.net shortly and registration will also be online at https://practiscore.com/clubs/tejas_caballeros too. We know it's a crowded time of the year, but we'd really like to see a supportive crowd show up and experience the 10 stage permanent village we call Determination. We'll do our best to make it a good time for all. The annual Whoopin’ is set for March 17th -19th at the Tejas Caballeros’ Determination, Texas range. We are planning a weekend with fun and competitive shooting matches, storytelling, and plenty of eating and drinking. In lieu of traditional side matches, we’ll have practice and fun stages set up on Friday for those who come early. Competitive matches start Saturday after breakfast is served at our recently built Cook Tent. Beverages and lunch snacks will be provided after Saturday’s first five cowboy stages while those that are competing in Saturday afternoon’s Long-Range match ready themselves. If you haven’t visited our recently completed Long-Range, bring your best aim, or just enjoy watching the competition. At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday we’ll gather at the Back 40 private room at Old 300 BBQ in historic downtown Blanco, TX, where food, fun and activities will be plenty. Sunday will kick off with another Cook Tent breakfast and the final five stages of the cowboy matches. A Cook Tent cookout and awards will follow promptly after the cowboy matches are finished on Sunday. Shooter awards will be awarded to the first three contestants in each category, plus the overall men’s and women’s category will fight it out for the custom-made overall winner award. Stretch raffles and auctions will be held throughout the weekend. We are encouraging guests to spend time and mingle at Determination, and we’ll endeavor to have plenty of activities food and beverage before and after the matches. Gather after shooting at our Saloon or recently constructed Cat House Hotel and enjoy the company. We strongly recommend signing up on Practiscore.com (link below). On Practiscore, you can register, pay, see posse registrants (called “squads” on Practiscore), and posse up. Alternatively, you may mail in the registration flyer (link below and instructions provided). Come help the Tejas Caballeros celebrate their annual match and deliver or get delivered a Whoopin’ Please spread the news. We want to have a good turnout and a good time. Target configuration will be the same as Whoopin for the stages we are shooting but different shooting pattern. Get your application in and join us next month for some great stages. Farr Ranger Posted February 21, 2023 Share Posted February 21, 2023 The format for Whoopin should be interesting. They don’t want you to be bored so they have a lot of different activities scheduled. The long range match is an annual match instead of a side match and should be interesting to watch. The Cabs have built elaborate stages. The saloon and hotel are good places to hang out.
