Major Art Tillery Posted December 21, 2022 Share Posted December 21, 2022 For Sale a used Uberti 73 Codymatic, chambered in 44-40. This has a 20" octagon barrel, with a straight stock. Normal wear seen on a match rifle. I will take some pictures this evening for those interested. Side plates are currently engraved, but can swap out with stock ones from another 73 if buyer chooses. And who the heck would want those side plates swapped out for plain ones? If somebody DOES buy it and wants the old side plates on it, you can send the scratched up ones to me. I'll put them on my rifle. BTW, I can't quite make out the engraving on the bolt cover. It looks kinda like a "T -1" or "T -" to me. What does that mean? They do look great, Aspen Filly out of Colorado did the engraving years ago... She does great work! So the engraving on the bolt cover is brand: Back up about 20 years ago that was a brand I wanted to use for a Bar and Grill I wanted to open "someday". It was going to be the "The Rocking T Bar". Just that brand in Neon light, was all sign that was going to be out in front of the place. So when I started cowboy shooting i just used the brand for that too, marking some of my guns with it. Had I known you were gonna sell yours I would have grabbed it. RCD has mine workin his magic on it, it’s a carbine ,can’t wait to get it. Gotta think yours will sell soon, hell of a good price!
