Ok since it worked I will cut and past some of the text. -Front half of the starboard torpedo bulge completely removed pending replacement. Some new frames in place now. Back half is being replaced as well. -Port torpedo bulge only has access holes cut every 20 feet or so, but is going to receive the same treatment. Dents in torpedo bulge aft caused by ruined framing from rust. -They aren't reinstalling the bulge below the point where it is inaccessible. The outer keels aren't being reinstalled either.-Bottom 20' or so of stern from shaft penetrations to rudder being replaced. They've got maybe half the hull plating installed on the port side. -Expected drydock work finished by May.-Still hoping for donations to do some extra work while in drydock, like complete repainting.-Still no decision on final home.Here's the Starboard side aft: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately ships have to be in the water as the pressure on them is even from all sides. When a ship rests on dry land the ship's own weight slowly compresses it.
