Mezcal Charlie Posted December 5, 2022 Share Posted December 5, 2022 I have a 12 gauge CZ coach gun. This has been smoothed, lightened springs, the chambers have been rounded to allow faster loading. If you’ve ever shot a new CZ, you know how stiff they are. This ain’t that. Falls open and closes with a flip of the wrist. I traded a fella my hammered CZ because my hands were already an issue and this fixed that for a while. I don’t know how much work or money to do what he did to it but well worth it. There is no real function performed by the rear surface of the outwardly extending upper ears of the extractor. It looks like the were slightly beveled but more can be done so that they cannot deflect shells downwardly and outwardly when the shells are being rolled into the chambers.
