Cypress Sun
A sheep dog in Georgia (US) save his flock of sheep from a pack of 12 coyotes. He got pretty torn up in the process but managed to kill 8 of the attacking coyotes and drove the rest off. That's one bada$$ dog there. Forty Rod SASS 3935
Good dog. Tough SOB. I hope someone can get some firearms support to help him get the coyotes before they come back and kill him.
Rip Snorter
We have neighbors with Sheep and Sheep Dogs here in Montana. Plenty of coyotes as well. Quite interesting, They are not pets, or entirely domesticated. They are "Sheep with Big Teeth" and live with the flock. They are fed and take food provided. They will never harm a sheep, but will eat a dead one. They are alert for threats, and done properly, there are two with the flock. I have stopped to take a photo and had them take positions between me and the sheep.
Sedalia Dave
A few of the sheep and goat flocks around here have Donkeys protecting the flock.
Church Key, SASS # 33713
Cattle farmers in my area keep a donkey or two as they hate coyotes and will stomp them big time.
