Avatar upload?

Like many others, my avatar has disappeared. Could someone please point me in the direction of how to re-upload? I'm not finding an obvious link.

Click on your Avatar placeholder, then the little picture lower left corner.  Drag & drop or  (I think, paste) your chosen image.

help!!

My computer illiteracy is preventing me from understanding. I click on where my avatar used to be, but it takes me to my profile page, and 15 minutes later I'm still trying to find a link to avatar.

Click on your name top right corner where it shows the messages and notifications. Click on your name , when the page loads over on the left where your avatar should be click on the little picture place holder.
