Cockney Rebel
Does anyone know who manufactured the Franklin Mint Buffalo Cody 1873 rifle? has anyone ever put a ‘real’ barrel on it or is the rest of the rifle not up to it?
Cholla
My concern would be are the materials used capable of handling the pressures involved when fired. That's a lot of energy going off beside your face to find out the action, pins, and toggles were made of materials never meant to be actually used in a real firearm. And, what other dimensions and parts were made to prevent barrel swapping.

Tex Jones, SASS 2263
The "rifle" is listed in all literature as a NON-FIRING reproduction. It's a wall hanger.
H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619
I'd be very hesitant to believe that something built as a non firing replica could be made into a real functional firearm.
