Why all these Christmas posts so early?

Mrs. Lose put this up a couple of weeks ago.

Yes we do but she gave up playing with the ornaments years ago.

As a kid, I remember my dad putting a hook in the ceiling to tie the Christmas tree too so the cat couldn’t pull it down.

I love Christmas and all the decorations. I kind of like that people decorate early and stores have displays early. It’s a break from the same old stuff all the time. I am putting Christmas lights up tomorrow because I like ‘em…and I enjoy irking judgmental people like some of my relatives who are pretty sure I will burn in hell for not waiting until after Thanksgiving.

Hey, does anyone know if they serve roast Turkey in Hell?

Grinch & Scrooge

You are aware, aren't you, that both Scrooge and the Grinch turned out be NICE people?

I challenge anyone to call me other one and not get his butt scorched.

I this day and age whatever makes you happy just do it! You want early Christmas then go for it! Don't bother me in the least. It's a happy time of the year except for the cold and snow!:P

There's an advantage to leaving your Christmas lights up year-round.

Our paramedic squad was called for a heart attack up Little Italy Hollow.

The caller said, "I'll have my Christmas lights on."

The squad had no trouble at all finding the location!

Yeah, the side dish is green been casserole, one of the go-withs is sweetened cornbread, and the dessert is fruitcake.

Cool! …all except the cornbread. ;)

Because it’s been a crappy year and any joy is welcome.

Things to be thankful for this holiday season:

1. The election wasn't a complete disaster for the GOP.

2. They haven't banned our semi-autos (yet).

3. The Ice Cream Man hasn't completely messed up the country (yet).

4. We're still the world's largest economy (for now).

5. Classic Smith & Wesson revolvers are still affordable for most working folks.
