Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971 Posted November 16, 2022 Share Posted November 16, 2022 I bought some Fiocchi 209 shotgun primers on sale at a gun store years ago and have been loading them in black powder shotgun shells this year. They have a flat surface and resemble Rio or Cheddite 209 primers. I've had no failure to fire with these primers. See also this Washington Examiner article.
