There is a law in CA that all police units enforcing vehicle codes (traffic laws) must have white doors and a white roof and a department logo displayed prominently on the vehicle’s front doors. People getting pulled over don’t know this and accept the ticket and rarely come back yo Kern County to fight the ticket in court. Also, the freeways are the Cal. The older ones say Emergency 911, the newest ones say Emergency 911 and Suicide Lifeline 988 on the quarter panel. None of them say To Protect and Serve under the city on the door anymore.
