Be careful how you post articles like this!!  Someone who wasn’t paying attention is liable to fill these forms out not realizing they are IN SUPPORT of the proposed ban!!

Is there anywhere we can add our names to a list that’ll let these “representatives” know that we’re opposed to any such legislation???

I was going to edit the form for content only, deleting the part where you can sign up for Mom's Demand Action and contact your representatives, as you pointed out. However, I think it is important for us to know exactly how the gun control zealots operate to influence legislation, so I left the form intact. You no longer have to wonder how they are able to bombard legislators with thousands of emails at once. This is one of their tactics.

As for opposed to such legislation, there are witness slips that can be filed once the bill has been drafted by the clerk and set on the agenda for various committee and/or subcommittee hearings. When that happens I will pass that along here.

Appreciate the comments.

Being one who has filled out many witnesses slips prior to the meeting, they are usually not the best way to list your opposition. The witness slip totals are read at the meeting and usually the total numbers of proponents and opposition are read into the record. Usually the total numbers of for or against the legislation does not sway the representatives vote. The best way is to always to contact your representative.  A useful website that monitors all laws within Illinois dealing with guns and gun control is illinoiscarry dot com.

While this is true, the witness slips do allow for non-residents to voice an opinion on legislation, where they do not have direct representation. I believe that was the gist of Blackwater's inquiry.

Thanks for posting.

Other than virtue signalling post Bruen AWB legislation is a waste of time.  By SCOTUS vacating 9th Circus rulings upholding CA's AWB & >10 round mag ban and remanding the cases back to the 9Th Circus with instructions to follow Bruen's 1 step test only an obstinate idiot would bother to argue Delaware's or any other state law restricting possession of >10 round mags or semi-auto firearms no matter the mfg & model no. or features.

You’re absolutely right, J. D.!

Unfortunately, we ARE dealing with obstinate idiots all over the country nowadays!  Not just obstinate idiots, but the devious, evil, wannabe tyrants that support and direct those obstinate idiots!!
