Our First Vacation In YEARS, Maybe Decades

I wanted to share some pictures from our trip to Maine for "Leaf Peeping".  My photographic skills aren't nearly as good as most folks in this here Saloon, but I thought they were worth sharing anyway.

Thanks for the kind words.  This was our first trip to Maine.  We really enjoyed it.  We're talking about a trip to Vermont next year to do the same thing.  We have determined we've been working too much and not spending enough time relaxing.  It's time we change that.

But we don't even know how to vacation.  We go places to do things.  Yes, we do try to see the local attractions when we're nearby.  Most of that stuff penned to the Scoring Throne was obtained when we did tourist stuff near match sites.

A friend of mines son is working with 5 other young men to bring back the Bridgton Saco narrow gauge railroad in Bridgton, Maine. Pretty cool. So far they have an engine, some track and some land at the old rail bed to build a museum and round house.
