Palouse
Cool. What is the proof year? Appears to have the trigger/OOB safety like early Uberti Henrys (or 1873 Win), given the lever stud. If so, does it also have the short carrier of the early rifles? A notch in the frame above the breach face to allow bullet nose clearance would suggest it. Thx. Split Rail #24707 Life
My guess would be early 2000... (# 20XXX). No safety, no notch.

Preacherman
Smoke, Switch to 44-40! More superior!
smokedawg SASS#60968
I should but I'm heavily invested in .45 Colt and .38-40. Maybe but finding .44-40 ammo right now would be a trick.
Preacherman
38-40 is next superior! I got out of the 45 biddness, you can too. Do it! Make your own. Ha ha

Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Hi Will Kane & Major Art Tillery: Split Rail just texted me and asked me to tell you that a Browning BSS 12 Gauge is the only trade he would be interested in. He is having difficulty getting on the Wire tonight, but will get it straightened out tomorrow. Thanks for your patience. --Dawg
Split Rail #24707 Life
Many Thanks to Prairie Dawg. Yes I would be interested in a trade. As Dawg mentioned, a bss in 12 ga. could work or maybe you have something that I don't know that I want yet. Let's go with a Holiday price. Split Rail #24707 Life
Thanks for the offer. It's the right caliber but, I'm trying to thin the rifle herd.
