Help, Marlin 39a part

Anyone know of a source for 39a parts.
tried the usual spots or at least the ones I know. Need a outer mag tube for a 39a made in 83. Tube is splitting at the top where the inner tube goes in. Not sure if it something that can be welded up, awful thin tubing. It’s on the underside against the barrel, repair would never be seen.  Any thoughts or suggestions  appreciated.
Thanks, LF.

Roll some sheet steel into a tube and Accraglas that over the split part of the mag tube.  Be sure to pull it tight with clamps.  Only 2/3 of a wrap is needed.   Clean any excess that squeezes into the inside bore of the tube about 1 hour after you glue.  Polish the inside bore smooth after 24 hours.  Cold blue the patch.

Some model airplane hobby shops MIGHT just have thin-wall tubing that is a tight fit already.  Or slightly undersize, which can be made to fit if it is slit with a saw blade, and it will spring back down to fit pretty tight.  Still want some epoxy in the patch for strengthening the main tube body out there at the split.

TIG welding could work, but complete penetration of the weld metal would then have to be reamed or honed out of the tube for smooth operation of the inner plunger.  Or a copper sleeve inserted before welding to prevent complete penetration.

GunParts (Numrich) shows an "old style" mag tube.  Could that be fit?

Not sure what the difference is between the two?? Guess for $25 it might be worth a try.

Didn’t think about fitting a sleeve, that’s probably a better fix.
Thanks, LF.
