Cypress Sun
The neighborhood I grew up in had a sizable retention pond with paved roads surrounding it, kind of like a rectangular racetrack. The roads weren't like the smooth asphalt roads of today, there were like a rough asphalt pavement with a bunch of sharp rocks imbedded on the surface with about a 1/2" of the rocks sticking up everywhere out of the pavement. The lake (that's what we called it even though it was a retention pond) had a 10' (+ or -) level, grassy bank all the way around the lake. There was also a bunch of Muscovy ducks around the pond. One day, a neighborhood kid of about 12 years old decided it would be a good idea to tie his Great Dane to the handlebars of his bike and let the dog pull him around the pond at a pretty good clip. Yep, you guessed it. At the dog's top speed, he decided to go for the ducks. That poor kid got all kinds of cut up from that road. He wasn't wearing a shirt and only had shorts on. What a bloody mess.

Blackwater 53393
And the dog had NO idea of what it was getting into! Damned Muskovy ducks are meaner than an alligator!! We had one that’d fight the geese and swans!!! And win!!
Cypress Sun
Yeah, the Muscovy ducks can be nasty, the drakes in particular. Our dog growing up, rat terrier, would kill them if she felt threatened. They got to be a real nuisance due to numbers and crapping everywhere, it would eat the paint off vehicles. To control that, we would toss their eggs in the lake.
