Words like "mother" and "father" show a deliberate act of inclusivity.  Anyone that would deliberately honer their mother and father over the desires of a bureaucrat cannot be trusted to mindlessly drop a JDAM on someone at odds with the current government.

Commissioned Officers that do not reflexively practice adversity and delusion as a priority cannot be trusted to faithfully discharge the duties of the office they are about to enter.

Delusion - its whats for dinner.

Delusion and peas - eat them.

Now.

Or else.

They ALL need to take pointers from U.S. Army Veteran Shukri Abdirahman. Who BTW is running for Ilhan Omar's congressional seat.

<quote>

The poll comes as the services grapple with policies on how to best accommodate members of religious minorities in the ranks, with the Air Force, Army and Navy all having policies that provide exemptions to dress and appearance standards for religious expression such as turbans.

Only the Marines have not budged on the standard, raising fears that such policies could hurt recruitment.

But Abdirahman argued the military should not change its standard to accommodate religious rules on dress and appearance, saying such changes do nothing to contribute to combat readiness and only serve to make the military more "woke."

"In the military, we are all one, regardless of religion or gender identity," she said.

Abdiraham pointed to her own experience in the military, arguing it was one of the most diverse and accepting organizations in the world and that she was able to practice her religion fully.

"The military is not supposed to be a place where people serve social identities, you are going into an organization that protects and defends this country, and we’re all in the same uniform," she said. "It's about saving lives and defending this country."

She gives me a glimmer of hope for my country.

There are NO military academies in this country anymore. They are all coed institutions of dubious learning of useless subjects.

Things started going to worms when they let the little girls in and they learned that if they whined they got their way. With each democratic president it has only gotten worse. Democrats don't give a damn about national security, military competence and readiness and preparations for fighting wars and defending our country.

I'm glad I'm old. I hope I don't see the total destruction of our country.

Reminds me of the USSR and their military with their political officers spying and ensuring complete adherence to party protocols. Of course they weren’t ensuring that fruitcake politics and limp-wristed socialism were the rule of the day.

this is the same BS that has been fed to college students for 30 years or more , now its in the high scxhools and middle schools and even being forced onto the early cjidhood schools - i get why . the agenda , i dont get why we are buying it or allowing it since it will isolate a lot of targets when the commies take over , the gullags will be full of those that drank the coolaid and attached these labels to themselves , its on their records and will follow them forever ,

But, but, but...

Feelings!

What about my feelings?  No one but my parents and my wife, and a few close friends cared about them 60 years ago.  The only difference now is even fewer people care about them.

I'm with Phantom Falcon on this one.

"The Air Force Academy does not prohibit the use of 'mom and dad' or other gender specific terms," Lt. Gen. Rich Clark, Superintendent of the USAF, told The National Desk (TND). "The slide on 'inclusive language' was intended to demonstrate how respect for others should be used to build inclusive teams, producing more effective warfighting units. Understanding a person's context shows respect. Until you know a person's situation, we should not make assumptions about them.""

Gen. Clark must have one heck of a good garden.

Don't knock the women at the academies, or in the services. Some of the hottest fighter pilots, some USAFA grads, some not, have been women. I don't know about the ground forces or the submariners, but gender doesn't have much to do with how they perform.  If you want my honest opinion, I think that ROTC grads, having been exposed to the world, as well as their military training, then those "locked up" in the service academies for four years. Of course, I'm not prejudiced on that account...much!  The service grads now get the same reserve commissions on graduation as the ROTC troops...at least until the selection boards for regular commissions meet. I can still recall wearing my uniform trousers, light blue shirt and dark blue tie under my gown. As soon as the ceremony was over, I ran to my car, grabbed my blouse and headed for the AFROTC building, and the regular Air Force colonel swore me and a couple of other guys in. B)

Yes, many women have proven to be excellent pilots. Doesn’t surprise me at all.

He, She, or It... does not and should not matter.  What matters is the ability to do the required job.

Unit cohesiveness wins battles and ultimately the war.

Individualism and making accommodations will result in a loss every time.

I've posted this before, and I think that it bears repeating here: I learned in the Marines that if a person can and will do what's require of him or her, race, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation don't matter.

If a person can't or won't do what's require of him or her, race, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation don't matter.

Yes it is, in almost every possible way, except for the one basic thing that matters. Pick a group, any group, and there's people who want to find an excuse so they don't have to treat them as decently as they treat anybody else.

What is sad that if any cadet, enlisted soldier or officer objects to the woke agenda their careers are over.  Their files will be flagged and their chances of promotion are limited.  Democrats have a long memory and even when they are out of power for a while everyone knows when they come back in they will get even with those that opposed them.  We will never have another Patton type general.  PC would simply not allow it.

I worked for the Feds longer than I care to admit and finally had to "retire."  When republicans go out of office most simply leave the federal workforce.  Dems believe in and use what everyone calls "burrowing in."  They go from Schedule C political jobs and drop into the Civil Service as GS employees.  When the dems move back in they move back up.

Then why in hell are we allowing the woosies to commandeer our schools, and so much else, with this blatant BS?

Because, just like every other part of society, WE are trying to live our lives the best way we can, working to be productive while doing what we think is right for ourselves. These people are ACTIVELY interfering with other's, pushing THEIR agenda on the rest of us.

And we tolerate this why?

One reason is the huge number of people who DO NOT VOTE, and the very large number who do, but have no idea what they are voting for because they listen to TV and radio idiots telling them what they think they want to hear.
