And, it's all the horse's fault.  As the casket was passing a line of RAF airmen, one of the horse's tail slapped one of the Airmen square in the face knocking his head back, in which the Airman stepped back to collect himself and then quickly moved back into position.  That took place just as they were approaching Windsor Castle.

No one does pageantry and ceremony better that the British military. There were a number of troops who became ill from exhaustion during the ceremonies. Fortunately, not on live camera. 

And you can expect some mishaps with thousands of people involved in such a massive undertaking. Then you through in Caballos to boot.

The reason the Royal Navy sailors pulled the gun carriage bearing the queen’s casket is because of an incident during Victoria’s funeral in 1901 when the horses became uncontrollable and the RN stepped in to pull the carriage. It became a tradition for Royal funerals since then.
