I believe they were made for 1849 .31 caliber pocket revolvers. I am the second owner and I have had it for a few years. The rig is very adjustable. As it sits now, it wears comfortably around a 42 inch chest. The piece around the shoulders has three more inches to expand and the back straps have 18 inches of spare you can play with.
