Because of his frequent hunger strikes he was so scrawny a strong wind could blow him away. And he had terrible bad breath. He was a super-calloused fragile mystic, hexed with halitosis. What she said. The girl pretty much vanished from my mind right after I met the girl who became my wife. I broke off the engagement, told her she wasn't the right one and that I gad met someone who was. Broke her up something awful. I got married a few months lar=ter and heard that she had gotten married month before I did. Never saw her again and almost never heard anything about her. God had been good to me.
