Springfield Slim SASS #24733
Is this a Stainless gun? Or is it just the pic?
Trigger Mike
It's like a brushed nickel look to it.

Abilene, SASS # 27489
That gun is a BP frame model and appears to have a one-position base pin. I'm guessing it probably has the "hammer-block safety" hammer that most Ubertis had for a number of years. If you cock the hammer, you will see a wedge below the firing pin, plus a slot in the rear of the hammer and a screw head on top of the hammer. While not authentic, those hammers rarely caused problems.

Doc Moses
Oh well. I am one of the odd ones that actually likes the hammer block safety. I like to load 6 when I walk about in the country. Thanks for looking though. Surprised it has not yet sold. I love the brushed nichol look and I am told they wear really well too.
Trigger Mike
maybe stick a twig under the hammer, then when you cock it, the stick falls out and it can then be fired. just kidding
