Singin' Sue 71615
Sooooo...I am not patient...so I have some clean up to do!!! And, having never taped off to paint anything, well, I apparently suck at that too!!! I will have Shanley Tape Off for me, so I can slap on the paint. It isn't like new...but does perk/clean up the rig a bit.
Badlands Bob #61228
That's not paint. Those are decals. You may be able to contact the manufacturer and buy another set of decals for your specific rig. The sun dries out the decals and cracks them up after about 10 years in the sun. WHO KNEW??? No, seriously...yes, I understand. I am not willing to pay the $$$ they want for the new decals. And Paint is working fine. I painted over the faded/missing decals with Loredo name...and 5 years later, the paint is still there. Besides...painting is theraputic.

Dusty Devil Dale
On many RVs, the decals are overcoated with a two-part clear coat. You can apply new decals over the old ones, but they won't last as long as the originals, absent reapplication of the clear coat. They probably won't outlast your theraputic paint job either, especially in hot sun.

Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Lookin' good. Next time, try 3M Fine Line Tape - sold in marine stores. It will eliminate the paint creep under ordinary masking tape, and give you a sharper line. Nice to see you tackling the project yourself.
