Dutch Anderson SASS # 12812
This is a beautiful engraved Colt 2nd Gen. 1862 Police. The timing and lockup are perfect. The blued finish is deep and high polished but the case colors are a little faded. I don't think the gun is factory engraved. It is signed on the underside of the barrel, "Singer '81". The gun was made in 1981 and I have been unable to find out who Singer was but the engraving is first rate. The inlaid bands around the barrel and cylinder appear to be gold but I think they are actually tarnished silver. All numbers match. Withdrawn I'll be happy to send additional photos.
