I turned on a movie today and it said:

Smoking, alcohol use, nudity, foul language, sexual content, violence.

I thought, 'Hot dang, I'm going to like this one!'

You and I think alike. :D

Warnings like that are of no practical use to me. It would be much better if they said:

Warning: cheesy acting, over-the-top action sequences, unrealistic firearms handling and terrible script writing.

At least then I could say I was warned.

 ........ you forgot the "prop 65" warning ......   :o

           ...... or is it prop 68 ? ....

Heck, I recently purchased some old 1940's Warner Brothers cartoons, from E-bay, and it has a warning label on the box, saying not suitable for children: "violence, stereotyping, some graphic scenes".

Give me a break!!!

Wimp/nannie/whinny Nambi-Pambi's. Today's "woke" generation needs to toughen up, and get a life!!!

If a flick does not contain these things it is not worth watching.

If I want to see snowflakes I can watch the news.  Speaking of the news how many times have you heard "warning the following content may be disturbing" on the news.  I get all ready to see something exciting and they edit out or blurr anything exciting.  So why bother with the warning?

Imagine them making a movie like Old Yeller again. Kids having to work. Kids with guns and axes. Animals fighting.  Then the sequel Savage Sam. Kids being left alone in wilderness.  Savage indigenous people being physically abusive.
