Lefty Wheeler
1.940" stock Uberti. If the spring hole in bolt is bured that can be the issue. www.wheelergunworks.com see tab bolt maintenance
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Dirty firing pin channel or jammed FP spring Weak hammer strike Loose junction between firing pin extension and bolt Egg-shaped worn frame bearing surface that firing pin extension slides through from lots of use without keeping grease on the FPE itself. This allows FPE to buckle upwards at the bolt interface absorbing lots of energy from the hammer strike But a broken firing pin is the most common problem, and not all broken pins spit out the broken section, so it still appears good until FP is removed from bolt. good luck, GJ

Dark Horse Charlie
You can also check the tension on the pin spring. Tighten the smaller screw on the tang by the lever lock.
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
1 hour ago, Dark Horse Charlie said: tension on the pin spring. That would be the tension screw for the hammer spring. Yes, adding a little more tension MIGHT take care of a spring that has seen lots of use, or a replaced spring that was made or adjusted on the light side. If you gun is still stock, making the Uberti hammer spring even tighter is probably not going to fix anything, except help you build up your triceps. good luck, GJ
Three Gun Cole
My old gunsmith used to add 40/1000’s of an inch weld to the end of the firing pin Extenstion. That solved the problems caused from setting primers too deep when loading on a Dillon 650 The weld was slightly smaller in diameter than the firing pin. It basically made your firing pin have a longer reach I think Deuce and Carty now sell Extensions with that type of mod for the Winchester 73 rifles 3GC
Bailey Creek,5759
I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I replaced Hammer Spring, and Firingpin Spring. Cut two coils off the Firingpin Spring.
