Meat Sauce

Love grits. This meat sauce sounds like a new favorite. I will skip the wine part though.

Use an equal amount of pomegranate juice.

Probably won’t tase the wine after it’s cooked down.  
 

I might substitute hot Italian sausage for the sausage component.

 

Romano in place of the Parmesan will render much more flavor to the grits!

 

Gonna try this next week!

Hmmmm.....Grill some slices of pineapple and top it with that meat sauce....Hmmmm

I had been thinking more on the lines of that meat sauce on baked potatoes or egg noodles.

Romano is the best!! 

My last name is Romano:D My parents always had Romano cheese, we'd buy id in a huge hunk and my mom would grate it and also cut up some hunks of it. Good stuff!!

Why? Wine adds excellent flavor to any sauce.

I do not drink. Allergic. And I don’t like the taste of wine anyway even if the alcohol is cooked off. :)
