The new one uses some power tool battery . I wonder how far in the future it will be before someone does a drive by in a ev with a coil gun . I have visions of opening the non-op firearm to find a corroded battery and an ounce of white acid powder. An impact induced piezo-electric igniter might be a more viable idea.
